Welcome To The Chirping Orchard
The magic starts at the break of dawn with a “human-like” long melodious song of the Whistling Thrush bird. The Cuckoo notices it and fills the environment with its distinctive ”koo-koo” call. Soon the Himalayan bulbul, sunbird, swallow, dove and several others join the choir….This is our garden – The Chirping Orchard – dotted with apple, plum, peach, pear trees and home to innumerous singing birds.
Located in Mukteshwar, The Chirping Orchard sits on a ridge, amidst endless fruit garden, offering what one can describe as an awe-inspiring experience, with view of the snowy Himalayan peak, forests and valleys.

I cant ask for a better break. The Chirping Orchard is lot more than just accommodation. Best was the visit to local village. That delicious ‘pakora’ by a local family in their fruit garden was probably my best ever evening snack.

I met ‘Brownie – a pet dog’ at the Chirping Orchard. He was so playful. I spent all my evening running around the fruit trees. He companied us to all the treks we did…such a lovely and fulfilling stay…Thank you Chirping Orchard

I would say simply surreal. It was pleasant 18 degrees in the afternoon. Comfortable sleep, sumptuous meal and several soft treks. I would especially thank Anupam and Alok for personalizing my experience.

Such an apt name…’The Chirping Orchard’. Birds sing all day long. I was glad to learn how to identify them. I also loved their local Kumaoni meal
